A report from the screaming edge…
I am blessed. I live an extraordinary life filled with amazing people, a loving (if crazy) family, meaningful work, and abundance on every side. This life is overflowing with blessing and love, and yet, I find myself collapsed in a heap, overwhelmed, and overloaded. Share this...FacebookPinterestTwitterLinkedin

My Anything story…
There was little doubt, this was a nuclear dream for me. A dream that held the power to destroy. My little family was at stake and I had to choose. If I let it be about them, I could undermine our home, our future, our life together.

He went to her…(Mark 1:29-34)
When we are sick, afraid, vulnerable, and weak He leans in close. He is here. He takes our hand and sits with us.

He saw them… Mark 1:16-20
He did not just see them, but knew them. He understood their hearts, their hopes, fears, dreams and weaknesses. He saw them. He saw what they did not yet know, that they were faithful and failures, providers and pretenders. He looked at these men and saw them completely.

When we gather…
Community is built with courage and intention. We don’t come together without fear and frustrations. We know the cost of sharing our lives, but we have determined that the value of community outweighs the cost.

Motherhood, here…
It’s a rough time to be a mom. Our babies have long since learned to walk, talk, and run. The days of diapers and bleary eyed hands-on-care lie behind us. We’ve walked through the terrible two’s and learned that “NO” isn’t the harshest word a child can say. We loved footy pajamas, dandelion bouquets, and juice boxes. We washed spring days out of their hair and their clothes, and their necks. We struggled to figure out motherhood as the days rushed past. We were sure the never-ending needs would wring us dry… and they often did. We clung, controlled, pushed and pleaded on this white knuckle ride. Share this...FacebookPinterestTwitterLinkedin
